About Us

Outhouse Radio is the creation of 30-year broadcasting vet Al Lockwood.  Al began his career at 18 working for Mix 94.1/ WFTN in Franklin, NH. In 1990, Al & his family relocated to PA where he continued in broadcasting working for Sunny 106.5/ WCED in DuBois. He took on several jobs, including Morning Show host, Production Assistant, Engineering, Chief Operator and all around good guy.  After leaving Sunny, Al went on to be Program Director for Renda Radio in Punxsutawney, PA.  In 2020, Al became disabled and couldn't work any longer.  Once Covid and depression set in, Al started Outhouse Radio as a way to beat the depression and keep his love of broadcasting alive.
